Prior to founding Dixon Partners, David Dixon was a top-performing executive in the Fixed Income division at Goldman Sachs in both New York and London. Always a pop culture enthusiast with an insatiable curiosity for the zeitgeist Dixon became captivated by the burgeoning boutique hotel business - a passion that would set the stage for his next chapter.

Leaving London for more creative ground, Dixon relocated to Los Angeles where he launched Dixon Partners Los Angeles, LLC - an investment, development, and advisory firm dedicated to collaboration with thought leaders in order to create genuinely inspiring spaces and progressive operating companies that reflect the values, lifestyle, and aspirations of creative people.

Within just a few years Dixon along with exceptional partners would conceive, develop, open, and operate the Colony Palms Hotel, a best-in-class boutique hotel that played a pivotal role in the renaissance of the Palm Springs’ hotel scene. A lot of wonderful things came from the Colony Palms including Dixon meeting who would become his wife.

Dixon is a strong proponent of the environment, our oceans, as well as sustainable and nourishing food sourcing. He’s an avid free-skier and surfer. Dixon splits time with his family of 4 between their homes in the hills of Los Angeles and beaches of Malibu.
